Sharing the Heart of Christ

By Kevin Burke, LSW * Theresa Burke, Ph.D. * Fr. Frank Pavone

The nature of abortion trauma requires a team approach to treatment with Clergy, Counselors and Laity working together. In this book, abortion is presented as a relational wound exploring the effects on Marriage and family life and special chapters address unique issues for clergy in their ministry. This book is for Priests, Deacons, Counselors and Laity in ministry to those suffering after abortion and in need of emotional and spiritual healing.

Recall Abortion

This book by Janet Morana delves deeply into abortion as a bad product that should be recalled by our government, and explores what women who have abortions recall about the experience. She traces the societal changes that brought about abortion, and covers many of the arguments for keeping abortion legal, including at-risk mothers, victims of rape and incest, and fetal anomalies If you know someone who is a pro-choice Catholic or just part of what Janet calls the “mushy middle,” it is a must read. Published by Saint Benedict Press.

Shockwaves: Abortion’s Wider Circle of Victims

This book by Janet Morana shines a bright light on the undeniable truth of abortion, that it impacts everyone – not only the mothers and fathers who lose their own children to abortion, but also the grandparents, siblings, extended families, religious and ethnic communities, pro-life advocates and even the abortion providers themselves. With 60 million legal abortions since 1973, there is no segment of our nation that remains unaffected.

At Eucharistic Adoration, I use "In the Palm of His Hand," and am so grateful to have this volume. -- Ada F.

Thank you for your longstanding witness to life and especially for your Booklet: "In the Palm of His Hand." While praying with this booklet many times during exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in our parish, Holy Spirit moved me to a much deeper awareness of life within me. – Carol, Gignac, CT.

On Saturday mornings, a group of college and theology seminarians pray the rosary at a local abortion clinic. We read the rosary pro-life meditations within the booklet for before each of the decades. It is my intention to get a copy of the booklets you sent to each of our college and theology students here this year. In this way, I hope we can encourage greater participation through prayer and action in defense of God’s gift of life. Hopefully, the men will carry this concern with them as they continue on their vocations, either as a priest or in service amongst the church laity. -- Jim, Seminarian

A Travel Guide To Heaven for Kids

Soon after his popular A Travel Guide to Heaven was published, bestselling author Anthony DeStefano recognized that children also have many questions about heaven. In celebration of the tenth anniversary of that book, Anthony wrote this fun-filled, action story about a little boy named Joey who gets to take a whirlwind tour of heaven with his guardian angel, Gabby. Artist Erwin Madrid's stunning illustrations bring the story to life, showing heaven to be a place where everyone is happy, the animals all get along, and God's glory is more amazing than anything Joey had ever seen in his whole life.

This long-awaited children's edition will quickly become a favorite for the reader and the child alike. Imagine the comfort and peace children will experience when they hear about this incredible place God has prepared for them.
